Ben highlights one of the largest challenges our world faces regarding the storage and management of renewable, clean energy sources. In this talk he presents an enlightening and innovate idea about how we need to store energy for the future of mankind while lowering our dependence on fossil fuels.
Ben Jawdat is the Founder and CEO at Revterra. After completing his PhD in physics at the Texas Center for Superconductivity at the University of Houston, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Air Force Research Laboratory and then began a position at Rice University as a Research Scientist in the Materials Science and Nanonengineering department. At Revterra, he is focused on the development of a high efficiency kinetic energy storage system for utility scale applications such as the storage of wind and solar energy.
